Crafted from premium kouki (red sandalwood), this pre-owned Tsugaru shamisen is built from one of the finest materials used in traditional shamisen making. Kouki is highly valued for its exceptional density, durability, and rich resonance. Before shipment, each shamisen is individually inspected, adjusted, and maintained by Hiroshi Nitta and Masahiro Nitta. Every instrument is carefully set up to bring out its unique tonal character, ensuring excellent playability, balanced response, and the best possible sound from the moment it arrives.
