These original Tsugaru shamisen tuning pegs are an exclusive creation by Ezofuji Japan.

This exceptional piece was created through a collaboration between Ezofuji Japan and renowned Japanese maki-e artist Osamu Omori.

Using traditional maki-e techniques, each tuning peg is meticulously handcrafted and adorned with elegant gold cherry blossoms. The beauty of traditional Japanese lacquer art is brought together with the craftsmanship of the Tsugaru shamisen, creating a work of true artistry.

Every piece is individually handcrafted by a master artisan, ensuring that no two are ever exactly alike.

This is a one-of-a-kind custom work that embodies the finest traditions of Japanese craftsmanship.

Maki-e Artist – Osamu Omori

• Born on October 29, 1967, in Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan

• 1987 – Began his apprenticeship under Maki-e Master Shinzan Somata

• 1991 – Became a professional maki-e craftsman after completing his apprenticeship

• 1994 – Studied under Maki-e Master Etsuro Hamataka

• 2003 – Established his independent studio

• 2005 – Excellence Award, Wajima Lacquerware Exhibition

• 2007 – Exhibited at the exhibition commemorating the 200th anniversary of Shibata Zeshin

• 2008 – Received the Seki City Board of Education Award at the Protective Sword Exhibition for his maki-e work on a sword scabbard

• 2008 – Commissioned by the Kyoto National Museum to reproduce the maki-e incense container Akikusa Maki-e for the exhibition Japan – The Brilliance of Oriental Decoration

• 2011 – Participated in the Urushi Sake Vessel Exhibition in Daikanyama alongside emerging lacquer artists from across Japan

• 2012 – Gold Prize (Free Category), Wajima Lacquerware Exhibition

• 2026 – Began artistic activities under the name Osamu Omori Mankasai

Ezofuji Japanオリジナルの津軽三味線用糸巻きです。

本作品は、Ezofuji Japan と蒔絵師 大森 修 氏とのコラボレーションによって誕生した特別な逸品です。

熟練の蒔絵技法によって、一つひとつ丁寧に描かれた金色の桜が、日本の伝統工芸と津軽三味線の美しさを見事に融合させています。

すべて職人の手作業によって制作されるため、同じものは二つと存在しません。

日本の伝統技術が息づく、世界にただ一つの特注作品。

• 平成3年　年季明け後、職人となる

• 平成17年　輪島塗見本展 優秀賞受賞

• 平成19年　「柴田是真誕生二百年展」関連展示会に出展

• 平成20年　お守り刀展覧会にて関市教育委員会賞受賞（鞘蒔絵）

• 平成20年　京都国立博物館開催「Japan ― 飾る 東洋の煌めき」において、扇面型香合「秋草蒔絵」のレプリカ制作を依頼され、制作・出展

• 平成23年　各産地若手漆芸家による「漆の酒器展」（代官山）に出展

• 平成24年　輪島塗見本展 金賞（自由賞）受賞

• 令和8年　「大森修 万華才」として活動を開始
