This website is operated by EzoFujiJapan. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to EzoFujiJapan. EzoFujiJapan offers this website, including all information, tools and Services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and Services to you.

SECTION 1 - IMPORT DUTIES, TAXES, TARIFFS, VAT/GST & SHIPPING CHARGES

International Orders;
Importer of Record. If your shipping address is outside Japan, your order may be treated as an international import. You acknowledge and agree that you (the customer) are the importer of record (or the person/entity acting as importer of record on your behalf) and are solely responsible for complying with all laws and regulations of the destination country, including any required registrations, tax IDs, or documentation (e.g., VAT ID, EORI number, or other importer identifiers, where applicable).

Customer Responsibility for All Import Charges. You agree that all customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, value-added taxes (VAT), goods and services taxes (GST), sales taxes, excise taxes, and any other governmental assessments imposed by your local, state, provincial, or national authorities are your sole responsibility, including but not limited to:

  • Customs duties and import tariffs (including U.S. duties and tariffs assessed under applicable customs and tariff laws and schedules);

  • Import VAT / VAT (including EU and UK import VAT and any related VAT handling requirements);

  • Brokerage, clearance, disbursement, handling, or administrative fees charged by carriers, postal operators, or customs brokers (including fees charged by courier companies for advancing duties/taxes);

  • Any similar charges assessed at delivery, upon import clearance, or after entry.

These charges are assessed by your government, postal service, carrier, and/or their appointed agents — not by us — and are separate from the product price and any shipping charges you pay to us.

Shipping Charges Collected by EzoFujiJapan. At checkout, EzoFujiJapan collects only the shipping charges shown for delivery transport (and, if applicable, packaging/handling included in that displayed shipping charge). We use those shipping charges to pay the carrier/postal operator for shipment of your order. We do not collect import duties, tariffs, or VAT/GST on your behalf unless we explicitly state otherwise in writing at checkout or on your invoice (for example, under a clearly identified Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) or tax-prepaid program, if offered for a specific destination/service level).

Delivery Terms; No Duty/Tax Included Unless Stated. Unless expressly stated otherwise, international shipments are sent on a basis equivalent to Delivered At Place (DAP) / Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU): we arrange transportation to the destination, and you are responsible for all import-related charges and any actions required to clear customs.

Delays, Holds, and Refusals. Customs processing and local delivery practices vary by country and may cause delays outside our control. If you fail to pay required import charges, fail to provide required information, or refuse delivery, the shipment may be held, returned, abandoned, or destroyed per carrier/government rules. In such cases:

  • You remain responsible for all costs incurred, including return shipping, storage, brokerage, disposal, and administrative fees charged to us by the carrier or authorities.

  • Any refund (if applicable under our Refund Policy) may exclude outbound shipping costs and may be reduced by any costs we incur due to the refusal, hold, or return.

Accuracy of Declarations and Information. You authorize EzoFujiJapan to provide shipping and customs documentation required to export and ship your order (including item descriptions, declared value, and country of origin) based on the transaction. You agree to provide complete and accurate shipping information and any importer details required for delivery and clearance. Additional carrier fees caused by incorrect/incomplete address details or failure to complete clearance steps are your responsibility.

Changes Requested After Purchase. After an order is placed, additional shipping charges may be required only if you request changes (including but not limited to address changes, rerouting, split shipments, reshipments, or other delivery modifications), or if a carrier imposes additional charges due to customer-provided errors or customer-requested delivery changes. We will notify you if such additional charges are required before proceeding where reasonably possible.

No Estimates Guaranteed. Any information we provide regarding possible duties, tariffs, VAT/GST, or clearance fees is offered only as a convenience and is not a guarantee. You are solely responsible for determining and paying all import-related charges in your destination jurisdiction.


SECTION 2 - ONLINE STORE TERMS
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
