Unlike a conventional polished, glossy finish, the final polishing process is intentionally omitted, allowing you to enjoy the smooth, natural feel of the wood and the refined, understated beauty of Shitan.

After we receive your order, synthetic skin is carefully applied to both the front and back of the shamisen.

Once the skinning process is complete, the instrument is carefully checked and adjusted before shipment.
